Pre-canon and 1.0

nashu and hildibrand met when nashu was 12 and hildibrand was 15, right before nashu's 13th nameday. when she named the wrong person as the one responsible for a theft at the tavern she worked in, hildibrand stumbled in and named the true culprit. as a result, nashu began to follow hildibrand around, becoming his greatest fan and assistant.life was rather idyllic at first, where the two would run off on adventures together, solving mysteries at inns and taverns. however, everything would change when hildibrand was launched at dalamud, leaving his family and nashu - who he saw as a younger sister and close friend - alone for five years, mourning his supposed passing.

A Realm Reborn (2.0)

when hildibrand went missing in 1.0 after shooting himself at the falling dalamud, nashu ended up in limsa lominsa during her travels. she thought to herself, "i need to be strong for the inspector!!!" and picked up an axe. later she ended up in ul'dah after being tasked by merlwyb for the envoy. there, she ended up finding hildibrand again, who was sent to the city by his zombie family, believing he deserved a better life there. when they met again, hildibrand didn't recognize nashu, but she tackled his ass to the floor to hug him, and he hit his head on the pavement, which then gave him his memories back. and then they met the scions and their echoes activated. you know the deal. now they're the warriors of light, and they're gonna go through ... everything in MSQ. please pray for them.
